I'll be demonstrating a pastel painting on Saturday and a collage on Sunday. I really enjoyed seeing you on the holiday in Corsica, it was a really great week. Do give my regards to Shirley, Rod, James and Peter. After we left you , we tried to get a drink after a long journey, however it was so busy we decided to go for lunch and return to exhibitiion later. John had heard that a retaurnat near Covent garden was good and we eventually found it. , Joe Allen 13 Exeter Street, London, WC2E 7DT www.joeallen.coi.uk a really good find! On returning to the exhibition it was much quieter, and a chance to view the standard to meet for next year. I asked how to become a member, there were 1500 entries, only 500 excepted. I think most of which were members, only about 100 for non members. You have to send 6 paintings, 4 must be excepted for consideration!. Quiet a tall order.
