A – No – these Holidays in Menorca are for all levels and all you need is a desire to learn Scottish Country Dancing and have a lot of fun at the same time. You will be coming to relax, learn and enjoy with the guidance of experienced dancing teachers in a beautiful place.

Q – Where is Menorca?
A – Menorca is the most northerly of the Spanish Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. It is not at all like its big sister Mallorca. Menorca is much quieter and less commercialised. See sketch map
Q – How do I get to Menorca?

Q – Is the dancing venue at the S’Algar Hotel a long journey from Menorca airport?
A – It takes only about 15 minutes from Menorca Airport in Mahon. See Map of Menorca. Your transfer is included in your holiday subject to certain conditions.
Q – Do I need to be very fit to enjoy a Scottish Country Dancing Holiday?
A – Not super fit, but you need to be active enough to enjoy all the dancing. This is not test of strength! You can dance the whole day through if you wish – or dance and then relax by the pool and watch the Mediterranean

Q – What clothes should I wear for my Scottish Country Dancing Holiday in Menorca?
A – Ladies should have a wide skirt for dancing. Gentleman please take your kilts if you have them. Ideally you will need comfortable soft dancing shoes or country dancing pumps to fully enjoy your dancing.
