Your luxurious air-conditioned poolside dance studio looks out across the blue Mediterranean.

For your dancing you will have the exclusive use of the entire Poolside restaurant area for the whole week – see the photograph below. The area is fully air-conditioned for your comfort – or large patio windows can be opened onto the pool and to breathe the warm sea air. The dance-friendly floor was newly laid in 2009 especially with dancing holidays in mind.

The dance floor is ideal for comfortable dancing. Scottish Country Dancing can be hard on joints and muscles – especially if you are not in the first flush of youth – so the floor is lightly cushioned to ease the strain and enhance your enjoyment.

Your dance venue is about 50 yards from the main entrance of the hotel, and separate from the hotel itself – so you can let the music fly without disturbing anyone. Iced water is provided free of charge throughout the day in the dance studio. It is just a few short strides to the poolside restaurant for tea, coffee, snacks and delicious lunches.

Just one plea – don’t get too carried away and dance into the pool. The water is lovely, but it won’t do your dancing shoes much good!

Spa & Massage
The S’Algar Hotel also has a luxurious Spa with jacuzzi, sauna and full massage facilities. Our clients will be offered special discount rates for these facilities.

Dance Itinerary
The itinerary for your week’s dancing holiday is planned to give you the maximum amount of dancing tuition, relaxed dancing and free time. There will be special dance workshops each day so that if you have any particular techniques you want to explore you can ask Moira or Keith for help.

During the week of your Scottish Country Dancing Holiday, we also offer some optional tours to some of the many interesting places on this beautiful island. These always prove very popular. Take a closer look at the Scottish Country Dancing intinerary
