Artist Sue Ford
Artist and painting tutor Sue Ford is an accomplished and established artist and art tutor.
Sue Ford is based in the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Stokesley – but finds artistic inspiration everywhere she looks in the wonderful coastal scenery of SW Scotland.
Sue Ford joined us for the first time in May 2010 to lead our Art Holiday in Menorca. Her relaxed and encouraging teaching style proved extremely popular with our clients and we immediately booked Sue to run more art holidays in Menorca.
Sue is hugely enthusiastic about passing on her knowledge and painting skills.
ART MENORCA MAY 2011
We have been so impressed by Sue Ford that she will again be the art tutor for our May 2011 Art Holiday in Menorca.
Sue’s love and interest in painting and drawing began in early childhood and developed further whilst studying at Middlesbrough College of Art. In her early career as an artist she was declared the North East winner for portraiture in a national TV Programme, ‘Painting along with Nancy Kominsky’.
In recent years Sue has been able to turn her love of art into a career which not only includes the artistic and painting aspect but also the business, management and planning of her own painting workshops, art courses and exhibitions
Media
Sue Ford is able to teach all art media including: Acrylic Inks, Acrylics, Drawing, Mixed Media, Oil pastel, Pastels, Pen and Wash, Pencil/Charcoal, Watercolour, and even Watercolour Pencil

Sue’s personality means that she is able to engage with the students ensuring that they not only develop their abilities but also enjoy their holiday to the full.
