To help save you trouble and airport baggage – you can hire a folding painting easel and a stool when you arrive in Menorca for your Painting Holiday.
These lightweight, aluminium easels are good quality and do the job well – although we accept that there is nothing quite like your own painting equipment. The stool is a folding wood and canvas ‘fishing stool’ type.
The cost of hiring a stool and an easel is just 5 Euros a day. There is a deposit of 30 Euros refundable on safe return of the easel and stool. It would help if you let us know beforehand if you want to take advantage of this service – but don’t worry, it can all be arranged when you get to Menorca.
We have found that most of our artists make good use of these easels for at least one or two days during the week.
We supply painting/drawing boards FREE of charge for your holiday.
ART MATERIALS
We can also provide you with art materials when you get to Menorca. For those of you who prefer to paint in oils, this service can be particularly useful and removes the need to bring oil-based mediums with you on the flight. To take advantage of this service, just have a list of the materials you need ready on the first day of the holiday and we will do all we can to get them for you. There is a very good Art Materials shop in Menorca, and everything from paper, pencils, pastels, canvas, brushes and watercolour and paints is available.
NO PROFIT
Payment for equipment hire and art materials should be made in cash Euros in Menorca please. We stress that we make nothing from the hire of this equipment, which is owned by the S’Algar Hotel. Nor do we charge for the service of obtaining your art materials – you pay what are charged.
