We will be running our first Botany Holiday in Menorca next April, and our very first advertisement has just appeared in Plantlife Magazine.

Our first advertisement for the Flowers & Photography Holiday in Menorca next year. This has just appeared in Plantlife Magazine. It says that the plant life of Menorca is unique, and that is absolutely true
If you don’t already know about this charitable organisation, do take a look. They do a tremendous amount of campaigning and really worthwhile conservation work and we are very pleased to be advertising with them. Prince Charles is patron of the charity.
Plantlife organises lots of botanical walks all over Britain, and I have agreed to accompany some of them next year to bring my photographic experience to help participants take better photographs of the flowers and plants they find during the walks.
That is pretty much what I shall be doing on the Botany Holiday in Menorca, too. While experienced botanist David Hawker will be passing on his botanical knowledge, I will be there helping people to take better photographs of the plants and flowers they discover during our field trips. The idea of the holidays is to help people bring together their passion for wild flowers and an interest in photographing them.
The botanical and photographic opportunities in Menorca are quite amazing. Menorca is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and can boast some 64 species of plant that are unique to the island. I have often spent time photographing the flowers there and can promise – you are in for a really wonderful experience.
Find out more about our Botany Holidays – we call them our Flowers & Photography Holidays
The Botany Holiday is 7th-14th May 2010 – the most glorious time for flowers in Menorca. We would love to have you with us to share and enjoy in beautiful Menorca.
